Job PurposeCoordinate the Sales Support Team to initiate sales activities in the country considering the different sales channels based on the analysis and evaluation of spanet-specific data. Identify opportunities and threats in sales (existing business, new business, online, groups) and will support in driving all processes at the organization. Account management activities jointly with Sales Executives and Sales Managers based on analysis and evaluation of customer portfolios. The post holder will enable the Sales Executive and Sales Manager to optimize sales activities by steering visits, preparing sales presentations and managing an array of administrative and supportive tasks
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Regular analysis and evaluation of customer performance (corporate / SME accounts and travel agencies / travel management company) and the development of each sales channel as basis for yearly planning of contracts
- Contract management, including the continuous update of the contract database and flow of information to all relevant departments (such as pricing) and coordination of comprehensive preparation of contract proposals (incl. individual quotations) in cooperation with the Sales Executive, as well as monitoring and back-end incentive calculations, whenever available (according to predetermined frequency)
- Ensuring that all CRM data are properly included and continuously updated in Salesforce.com, as well as the updates exchange of the Distribution Lists to the pricing team in cooperation with the Sales Executive inputs
- Ensure a seamless flow of information, steering advising and supporting all relevant departments (interface between sales, corporate communications, pricing and finance).
- Manage the administration and investigations of ADMs, ACMs and other related revenue accounting queries. Advise relevant line Sales Managers of travel agents undertaking incorrect ticketing or fares construction practices. Manage the “Commercial & Sales” advisory notices.
- Keep up-to-date with all technical developments regarding reporting tools and continuous coordination of monitoring, analysis, development and adjustment of EK reports, tools and workflows.
- Coordinate customer data management (salesforce.com, AIMS, etc.), ensuring data quality for sales channel management
Groups, CMS & Group Management System –
- Review new group requests for MICE and Leisure based on inventory and spanet pricing
- Negotiate with HQ groups for group fares as per Station requirements
- Enhance relationship with MICE & Leisure operators with regular calls, feedback sessions, and product presentations
- Monitor group materialization and refund policy in line within the framework
- All competitor pricing activities need to be monitored and recommend corrections to SM
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure groups are closed with their respective agents & corporates
Effective and prompt usage of sales tools and respond within the deadlines.

Qualification- Graduate with a minimum of 3 years experience in the Travel Industry

- Thorough knowledge of EK groups products and services
- Good knowledge of travel agency business or Travel consultancy
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel
- Excellent team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
