Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate is a seasoned Cyber Security Architect with a passion for developing world class technical security solutions to ensure enterprise security capabilities are developed and deployed in secure and compliant ways. The candidate’s mindset is on connecting and translating the needs of the wider enterprise security model to the current and future needs ensure the business. As a Sr. Staff Cyber Security Architect, the candidate will apply deep knowledge of the security technology market, enterprise architecture, industry standards, risk identification, and technical security best practices to help business partners and application/infrastructure owners deliver secure products.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for complex, enterprise-level systems.

  • Act as a key liaison between security, IT, and business stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach to enterprise security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development and implementation of new technologies

  • Conduct comprehensive architectural risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the organizations digital assets.

  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, providing proactive recommendations to senior leadership

  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies across all business units

  • Collaborate with IT teams, legal, and compliance departments to ensure a unified and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity

  • Create and maintain comprehensive reference documentation for enterprise security solutions, including architectural diagrams, configurations, and implementation plans.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure proper understanding and utilization of security solutions

Desired Characteristics / Technical Expertise:

  • Strong capability to develop and align forward looking technology plans with the current state of the business

  • Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level ad translate to technical security requirements

  • Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

  • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.

  • Able to lead early-stage stakeholder interactions; Guide stakeholders as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).

  • Experience with formal security assessment tools and methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are a plus.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Cyber

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
