Job Summary:
The SME will develop and share key knowledge across procurement areas and support Arconic locations in meeting Global Procurement Processes (GPPM) requirements. This role involves close collaboration with third-party service providers to ensure process quality standards are maintained.
Major Activities/Key Challenges:
- Serve as SME for all PO related activities, especially for Requisition Turn and Centralized Contract Management.
- Review processes completed by third-party service providers to ensure compliance and quality.
- Oversee owned business processes to ensure timely and accurate completion in line with GPPM, Financial Management Handbook, and SLA agreements
- Conduct regular reporting reviews, trend analysis, ASAT, and quality checks to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with third-party service providers to maintain process quality standards, including training, best practices, and work instructions.
Support escalations received from customer or third-party service provider.
Lead and participate in PO-related projects, liaising with clients to define requirements, scope, and objectives.
Required qualifications and skills:
Degree of supply chain, finance, and/or accounting obtained at a college/university and/ or 3 years in complex procurement environment
Professional English language capabilities
Professionalism, collaboration, customer focus, results orientation, problem solving capabilities, attention to detail
Working knowledge of:
International Expertise / Regional Perspective (familiarity with international procurement practices).
Business Controls and Compliance expertise.
Understanding of Req to PO flow path and the awareness of roles involved.
