Arconic is currently in search of an IT Backoffice PO SME with fixed-term contract (maternity replacement) to join our Resource Unit Team based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. This role involves close collaboration with a third-party service providers to ensure process quality standards are maintained.

In this role you will:
- Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all IT PO Backoffice procurement related activities with specific knowledge in hardware and software acquisition, lease management.
- Review transactional procurement processes completed by third-party service provider to ensure compliance and quality.
Oversight of owned business processes ensuring they are completed accurately, timely and within requirements.
- Conduct regular reporting reviews, trend analysis, ASAT, and quality checks to identify improvement opportunities. Address findings with third party service provider.
- Assess major risk areas and contribute to compensating control strategies.
Support escalations received from customer or third-party service provider.
Documentation of new customer requests and working with third-party provider to identify standard deliverable requirements.
- Lead and participate in IT Backoffice purchase related projects, liaising with clients to define requirements, scope, and objectives.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited organization.
- 3 years of experience in similar role.
- Professional English language capabilities
- Professionalism, collaboration, customer focus, results orientation, problem solving capabilities, attention to detail
Working knowledge of:
Experience using Oracle EBS – especially Req-to-Pay
Knowledge of procurement practices and processes as well as supporting tools, IT-solutions and methodologies
Strong Excel skills are required (including proficiency with complex formulas, PivotTables, and the ability to review, modify VBA macros)
Business Controls and Compliance expertise
- Understanding of IT lease management, Hardware and Software acquisition
