Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Interrupted Trip Expenses (ITE) is responsible for review, approval and processing of all ITE related invoices associated with Guest reaccomodation. They accurately reconcile and report Interrupted Trip Expenses for all airports in our system from multiple sources including other airlines, automated amenities or via our automated re-booking engine. They utilize trends to make recommendations for system and process improvement.

  • Produce daily report of Interrupted Trip Expenses that were incurred by reaccommodating Guests due to cancelled or delayed flights.
  • Manipulate and consolidate data from various sources into a standardized format.
  • Ensure validity of submitted vendors and set up new vendors, as needed.
  • Identify and validate trip interruption reason for Guests, along with categorical information (PNR, Flight Number, Route, type of expenses).
  • Prepare and distribute summarized reports to Management in various different formats.
  • Identify trends and conduct root cause analysis to reduce ITE cost and provide suggested solutions to Leadership.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting when needed.
  • Central point of contact with vendors and Airport Leadership for issues related to ITE processing.
  • Validate and process all ITE-related invoices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all invoice payments.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Excel, Flow, SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of Standard Airport Procedures. 
  • Highly analytical thinker.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Natural curiosity to dig deeper into data and create solutions.
  • Ability to organize information effectively to be presented at all levels of the organization.
  • Domestic & International travel under 10 of time.
