Description:Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, you will develop, optimize, and implement the heatshield bonding process for a specific product line. You will support the Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) as the product moves from development into high-rate production, ensuring stable, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies and material handling
• Analyze factory process data to identify inefficiencies and apply corrective actions
• Integrate process improvements to optimize quality, efficiency, and production rates
• Leverage automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing tools to enhance production
• Support adoption of new technologies and digital tools, including 3D modeling and digital work instructions
• Collaborate with product design teams to align manufacturing methods with product requirements
• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance, investigate issues, and implement solutions
• Use data analytics and statistical process control to drive continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all requirements listed:
• Experience supporting production operations or manufacturing processes
• Experience participating in design reviews
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain the required government security clearance
• Ability to work at a facility requiring special access

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
