Position Summary
JOB PURPOSE
Support the successful delivery of projects by providing technical expertise, coordinating engineering activities, and ensuring compliance with design specification, safety regulations and quality requirement.
Act as a bridge between project management and functional teams, and ensuring work transfer project’s objectives achieved within budget, on-time and on-quality.
Establish positive relationship with stakeholders including internal and external stakeholders (sending sites and end-customers) to understand, communicate, consider and respond to their needs, interests, expectations.
MAIN DUTIES
Lead transfer of work projects from sending sites to PMVN by developing internal project charter, understanding and exploring project objectives, risks, assumptions and constraints, expected benefits written in sending site’s project business case, project charter and assessing project feasibility within imposed, agreed-upon constraints.
Manage project schedule, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.
Specify the required equipment to invest, prepare the CAPEX/AFE submission, then support the purchasing and installing of capital equipment in PMVN.
Ensure compliance with AS9100, EASA regulation, and customer requirements
Coordinate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and lead process qualification, PFMEA, control plans and process capability studies (Cp/Cpk)
Apply LEAN tools for continuous improvement and support quality team to perform the root cause analysis/corrective actions for quality escapes and production issues.
Ensure successful customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as the primary point of contact for project activities, status and problem solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, work instruction, request change if any and monthly project reports

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 2+ years working experience in aerospace industry or regulated manufacturing environments.
Foreign languages: Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of German or French is an advantage.

Experience with aerospace materials and processes (machining, composites, assembly, special processes)
Good understanding of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems
Proven project management experience
Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), specifications..
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
