Job Description
Set up and operate 4 & 5 Axis machines to produce precision aircraft parts. This role involves reading and understanding precision instruments to ensure product conformance.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 4 & 5 Axis CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and understand the function of precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify product conformance.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards while working with precision aircraft parts.
Essential Skills
- Experience with CNC machine setup, specifically with 4 & 5 axis machines.
- Proficiency in using precision instruments like calipers and micrometers.
- Experience with Okuma machines.
- Active Secret Clearance required with status verification.
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft structures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Palmdale, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
