Primary Objective of the Position:
The Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for owning and growing key strategic partnerships that drive long-term business value. This role ensures partner performance, contractual commitments, and operational objectives are met by working cross-functionally to execute partnership strategies, strengthen relationships, and support sustainable revenue and network growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for key strategic partners, ensuring partnership objectives and mutual business goals are achieved.
- Develop, implement, and manage partnership strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and enhance overall product and service value.
- Monitor partner performance by tracking KPIs, analyzing outcomes, and identifying opportunities to improve underperforming partnerships.
- Deliver regular performance reviews, strategic insights, and progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Align cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, CCC, and Customer Experience) to ensure partner initiatives are integrated and executed seamlessly.
- Maintain strong executive-level relationships with partner organizations to foster collaboration, trust, and long-term value creation.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Billing, and Leadership teams to negotiate, structure, and finalize partnership agreements and renewals.
- Support operational planning and network initiatives, including domestic overnight logistics or related infrastructure considerations, to ensure alignment with partnership goals.
- Represent the organization at partner meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions to identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen brand presence.
- Act as an internal advocate for partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are clearly communicated and met across all departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, partnerships, business development, strategy, or a related role
- Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships or operational teams
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Frequent business travel shall be required for partner meetings, industry events and key negotiating activities
- May require working outside regular business hours to meet client/company requirements.
