Position Summary
As Billing Supervisor, you’ll lead a talented team of Billing Specialists to deliver accurate, timely, and seamless invoicing across multiple sites. You’ll be at the heart of Jet Aviation’s operations, connecting Project Management, Project Performance Controlling, Finance, and stakeholders to drive smooth processes, support project success, and ensure financial excellence.
Your role
- Lead Billing Performance: Guide a team of Billing Specialists with clarity, structure, and accountability. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all invoicing activities while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central connection point between Project Performance Controlling, Finance, Project Management, and other stakeholders. Translate project and business requirements into precise billing actions that support financial transparency and strong project execution.
Ensure Process Discipline and Compliance: Uphold Jet Aviation’s billing policies, methodologies, and controls with rigor. Identify inefficiencies, drive standardization, and implement improvements that enhance quality, reduce unbilled exposure, and optimize turnaround times. - Elevate Customer Experience: Handle billing-related inquiries and issues with fairness, clarity, and professionalism. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring trust and satisfaction throughout the invoicing lifecycle.
- Drive Financial Accuracy: Oversee all invoicing streams—including project billing, OEM warranty claims, and special program billings—to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal standards. Proactively mitigate risks that could impact billing accuracy.
- Lead Through Insight: Monitor, analyze, and report key billing metrics, providing leadership teams with meaningful insights. Recommend and drive actions that support financial performance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

Your profile
- Experience in financial reporting or billing within an international, matrixed environment, with a solid understanding of project financial follow-up.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in billing or a similar role, demonstrating precision, structure, and a strong commitment to quality.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, paired with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and high personal ownership.
- Proficient in MS Excel, with SAP knowledge considered a strong advantage.
- Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to stay focused, organized, and efficient in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions and levels.
- Strong customer orientation supported by excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident in navigating challenging situations with professionalism, clarity, and a solution-focused approach.
- Natural strength in delegating responsibilities, guiding others, and ensuring high performance within the team.
