The Talent Partner will play a crucial role in supporting and executing on the talent strategies for the Pratt & Whitney organizations based primarily in Singapore, New Zealand, and Turkey. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying strategies, tools, and initiatives often developed at the RTX / Pratt & Whitney level while adapting them to meet the specific needs and requirements of local teams or regions.
Our Talent Partners are customer-focused, collaborative, innovative and driven; they build relationships and act as a thought leader on talent and organizational strategy. This includes focusing on succession planning, employee retention, career development and engagement. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Management – Commercial Engines and is responsible for partnering with the Pratt & Whitney business and HR leaders in region, as well as other Communities of Expertise across P&W. The position is hybrid, typically 3 days onsite as per requirements.
What You Will Do
Drive and implement talent processes aligned with Pratt & Whitneys global business strategies to meet organizational goals while maintaining a OneRTX mindset
Collaborate closely with HR Partners and business leaders to address short- and long-term talent challenges and business needs
Partner with other HR COEs to deliver initiatives focused on attracting and retaining talent, employee engagement, recognition, and well-being
Facilitate action-oriented discussions during Talent Councils and Talent Reviews
Champion internal talent development opportunities by elevating career development tools and resources
Act as a change agent to promote cross-organizational talent mobility and growth
Provide data-driven recommendations on talent challenges and consult on forward-looking strategies
Share insights on local talent trends to enhance and further refine talent strategies and programs
Qualifications You Must Have
A University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant talent management experience, or, an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of relevant talent management experience.
Proven ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Demonstrated experience presenting complex information (including data and analysis) to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
Experience working and collaborating with creative and innovative teams.
Organizational, problem-solving, adaptability and analytical skills with the ability to make timely decisions.
Customer-oriented focus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships.
Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems.
