We are seeking a motivated, people -focused Human Resource Manager to support our manufacturing operations in Breslau, ON. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a small-company environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution. The Human Resource Manager will oversee all HR functions, supporting both hourly and salaried employees while ensuring compliance with Labour legislation, promoting a safe workplace, and fostering a positive, high-performing culture. This position partners closely with leadership to align people practices with operational and business objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee relations & Workforce support Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace matters. Foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts in a fair, consistent and timely manner.Partner with leadership to support workplace planning and performance management initiatives.Lead workplace investigations and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. Develop, analyze and report on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, safety reports) to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.Manage employee terminations and offboarding with professionalism, sensitivity, and legal compliance. Review HR reports related to resourcing, turnover, disability, safety, employee engagement; collaborate with leaders to develop and implement action plans. Recruitment & Onboarding Lead end -to-end recruitment process. Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Develop and deliver onboarding and orientation programs to support new-hire success. HR Policies & Compliance Create, maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook. Ensure compliance with Federal, provincial and local employment laws.Communicate policy updates clearly and effectively to employees and leaders. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries.Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data, timekeeping, and employment changes. Assist leadership with compensation planning and pay practices. Training & DevelopmentCoordinate training programs in accordance with the Canada Labour Code. Support leadership development initiatives for Managers and Supervisors. Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. Health, Safety & Manufacturing Environment Support Partner with operations to promote workplace safety OSHA compliance. Collaborate with the Health & Safety (H&S) team to support behaviour-based safety culture, reducing incidents and promoting a safe work environment. Immigration Manage end-to-end immigration processes, including work permits, vias, and permanent residency. Coordinate with external immigration counsel and government agencies of case filings and documentation.Track and maintain immigration case statuses, deadlines, and employee records. Additional Support Support additional Human resource initiatives identified by the business. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, ore related field (or equivalent experience).5+  years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation. Specialist knowledge of Canadian Labour and Employment Laws; multi-provincial experience preferred. Experience in the Aviation sector or manufacturing/ industrial environment is considered a strong asset.Strong knowledge of immigration laws and employment regulations. Skills & CompetenciesHands-on, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to trust credibility. Creative problem- solver with the ability to think outside the box and build consensus. Energetic with a strong work ethic; exhibits contagious enthusiasm while projecting a level of maturity required in a human resource position. Able to work independently and as a team member. Proven ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with discretion and diplomacy. High level of integrity and professionalism when managing confidential information.
