How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Professional Services (DPS) is seeking a part time Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and programs across various client engagements. The Project Manager Support role will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle, from initial planning to successful completion, ensuring that project objectives are met in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role is critical to managing the onboarding process for new clients and coordinating internal projects to achieve project success. This position will report to the General Manager, Business Systems & Data at Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.Develop comprehensive project plans that detail resource allocation, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.Lead the onboarding of new clients. Manage the project plan for any key updates or releases within DPS or externallyCoordinate and lead project teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project objectives. Ensure the execution of tasks according to the established project timeline, adjusting as needed to accommodate changing project conditions, goals and objectivesMonitor and track project progress, identify and resolve any issues or risks, and provide timely updates to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycleRegularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate meetings with project teams and clients to discuss project progress, address roadblocks, and identify solutions.Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders, including senior managementAct as a liaison between business units to ensure alignment of project objectives and prioritiesConduct post-project evaluations to determine areas for improvement and client satisfaction. Implement quality assurance practices throughout project execution to meet or exceed client expectations.Work closely with leadership to identify and prioritize key initiatives that align with DPS’s strategic objectives. Ensure project outcomes contribute to the company’s long-term goals and enhance operational efficiency.
