We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Senior Credit Controller to join the Finance team here at our London HQ.

Job Description

The key purpose of this newly created position is to eliminate overdue debt and we aim to achieve this by implementing best practice and discipline around the collection of debt!

The duties of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Personally, contacting brokers where payments are approaching due dates to ensure that payment will be received on time
  • Personally, contacting clients where payments are overdue to collect funds
  • Overseeing our global debtors to eliminate overdue debt
  • Ensuring compliance with company credit policy
  • Liaising with the legal department where debt has become overdue and a commitment to pay has not been honoured
  • Producing weekly MI
  • Conducting Broker training as required
  • Managing and developing a Credit Controller

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sales organisation collecting debt ideally across multiple geographies
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence both brokers internally and external clients
  • Strong level of resilience
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
