We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Digital Project Senior Manager!
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced, motivated and mission-driven Digital Project Senior Manager to join the Digital Technology Transformation Office.
The Digital Project Sr. Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of digital projects in support of Pratt & Whitney’s S/4 HANA Transformation.
This person will leverage strong project management and technical acumen and lead impactful cross-functional teams to drive digital execution by employing industry leading project management best practices and standards.
This position will require significant collaboration, planning and real-time communication with P&W DT team, it’s business partners and outsourced 3rd parties to execute digital solutions on budget, with high quality and demonstrated value realization.
The individual will be responsible to the execution of both traditional waterfall and agile execution frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed project planning for multiple concurrent projects; ensure execution runs as planned.
Manage project deliverables to defined schedules and budgets to ensure project deliverables are achieved within project schedule and budget.
Manage Key Decisions, Risks, Actions and Dependencies.
Ensure all stakeholders are aligned around the vision, scope, schedule and budget for the responsible portfolio project.
Lead various project status & communication forums including daily standups, stakeholder alignment meetings and executive program reviews.
Develop metrics to monitor development of application solutions products in your project portfolio and ensure status is communicated regularly to key stakeholders and leadership.
Develop and manage comprehensive L1/2/3 project plans.
Ensure all projects follow predefined gated approval and sign-off process.
Ability to forge strong relationships and influence cross-functional enterprise teams, business partners and 3rd parties to start aligned and on task.
Capability to clearly understand business processes/project requirements and translate to comprehensive project and communication plans that will meet or exceed the defined business requirements.
Demonstrated agile mindset and proven history of helping implement and support scaled agile practices.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve application performance, quality, and reliability.
Ensure that delivered application solutions meet or exceed agreed upon service level expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience in digital technology, including 8+ years of experience in managing and delivering IT projects in dynamic organizations; OR an Advanced degree with 10+ years of experience in digital technology, including 8+ years of experience in managing and delivering IT projects in dynamic organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the SAP (all modules), Solumina G5/7/iSeries, Team Center, SAP Fiori. SAP S4 experience is highly desired.
Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
Ability to effectively influence and direct the actions of those not within the direct reporting chain.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.
Results oriented with intense focus on success and achievement despite obstacles both within and outside of direct control.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
