Are you ready to advance your career with a rapidly growing airline? We are seeking a regular fulltime Stores Supervisor in Orlando, FL to lead our team of store clerks and oversee all bases, ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Position Overview:

As a Stores Supervisor, you are accountable for managing the materials and parts inventory across assigned locations to support our Maintenance team. This role requires close collaboration with Station Managers and Maintenance Supervisors to maintain optimal inventory levels. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company procedures and coordinating store clerks&39; schedules in alignment with Maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the workflow of store clerks at each assigned base
  • Oversee stock management in the base, hangar, and other departments, ensuring timely material availability
  • Supervise the storage and handling of parts and materials at designated facilities

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
  • At least one (1) year of experience in inventory, parts, or warehouse
  • Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management
  • Prior airline experience is preferred
  • Pass and maintain certification to operate forklifts (4,000 to 18,000 pounds), tugs, trucks, and other relevant equipment
  • Successful completion of Materials and MM-01 training courses
  • Depending on location, may need to complete and maintain certification in IATA or DOT Hazardous Materials Training
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
  • Valid Driver’s License with driving record that meets Silver Airways’ insurance requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a team environment
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel up to 40 of the time

Environment and Equipment:

  • Exposure to elevated noise levels in terminal areas and outdoor conditions
  • On-call availability 24/7 to support assigned stations
  • Irregular work shifts and a variety of weather conditions
  • Standard office equipment including computers
  • Ground support equipment such as bag tugs, belt loaders, trucks, forklifts (4,000 and 18,000 pounds), box trucks, and other related machinery
  • Handheld two-way radios, headsets, and phones

Physical Requirements:

The position involves strenuous physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds, with assistance, occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
