Job Title: Structures Mechanic - Hayden, ID Job Description
As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. Your tasks will include receiving task cards, reading blueprints, identifying necessary tools, performing repairs or installations, and submitting work for inspection. You will be involved in drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerances using standard and blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks. Additional duties include basic fabrication, installation, quality checks, corrosion control, and fabricating and installing stringers and doublers.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft.
- Receive task cards and read blueprints.
- Identify necessary tools for tasks.
- Perform repairs or installations as required.
- Submit completed tasks for inspection.
- Drill, ream, and rivet to close tolerances.
- Use standard and blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks.
- Conduct basic fabrication and installation.
- Perform quality checks on completed work.
- Control corrosion and fabricate/install stringers and doublers.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural repair or fabrication.
- Ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet sheet metal from blueprints.
- Proficiency in passing a basic structures fabrication test.
- Possession of a personal set of tools including a drill motor, countersink cage/microstop, rivet gun, rivet sets, 1/4" ratchet and sockets, grinder, machinists scale/rule, and clecos.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- MRO experience is highly preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The work will take place in an insulated hangar MRO with shops, a break room, and a tool crib all located in the same building. The schedule consists of 5-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with the second shift running from 15:30 to 02:00. Please note that this is a new shift and there may be small adjustments to the times.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.00 - $52.00
