JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Hangar Operations Manager, the Shift Lead – Line Maintenance is responsible to coordinate the line maintenance crews and to support KFACL (KF Cargo and AeroFlyer), Contracted line maintenance, Regency, the Heavy Maintenance teams, engine runs, as well as other assigned duties. The incumbent will work closely with the team to implement a dedicated crew to support line maintenance needs across KF’s continuous operations and will provide coverage in other facility locations when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and participate in supporting all line maintenance contracts in YLW including Air Canada Sunwing, Flair and Central Mountain Air
- Support AOG staffing requirements for the BC feeder services and AeroFlyer Program
- Provide YVR support and relief as needed
- Complete fleet maintenance on KFACL aircraft
- Complete fleet maintenance on Executive Aircraft
- Liaison for Regency aircraft maintenance requirements in YLW – storage and maintenance
- Coordinate with Airport OPS for Major Runs and Apron usage
- Work collaboratively between teams to capture line efficiencies
- Ensure a productive positive working team environment within Maintenance
REQUIREMENTS
- TC AME- M2 License with ACA, M1 license is an asset Must be endorsed on B737NG or ATR72, CV580 endorsement is an asset
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Licensed AME
- Must have a RAIC pass (Canada wide) and YLW AVOP
- Proficient in M3
- Aircraft parts and paperwork knowledge
- Proficient computer skills especially in MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Pride in accuracy
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekend shift work
- Must be able to travel to provide support in other locations if necessary
- Able to work overtime as required

SALARY
The hourly rate is $48.40 to $50.40
