We are seeking a skilled Blade Technician to join our team. This role involves repairing and maintaining helicopter blades, ensuring top-notch quality and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, be comfortable using various tools and equipment, and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Repair helicopter blades with precision and care.
- Read and interpret prints and schematics accurately.
- Complete sanding, cleaning, and blade-specific maintenance tasks.
- Properly record work performed on appropriate maintenance records.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Essential Skills- Experience with mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with production and quality control processes.
- Comfortable using hand tools and other maintenance equipment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A 2-year technical degree is desired.
- Interest, experience, and training in aviation are highly beneficial.
- Drafting and blueprint interpretation skills are preferred.
- A self-starter with a willingness to learn is required.
