As a Quality Inspector, you will perform technical inspections on incoming materials, airframes, and aircraft components to ensure compliance with approved standards and detect any unapproved parts. You will be responsible for in-process inspections across various departments such as electrical back-shop, manufacturing, composites, MRO, and paint shop. Your role involves detailed inspections of manufactured components, ensuring the integrity of aircraft structures, and verifying electrical terminations. You will also quarantine non-conforming components, monitor measuring equipment, evaluate sales returns, and validate product samples.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical inspections to accept or reject incoming materials and components.
  • Conduct in-process inspections in various departments to assess manufactured parts.
  • Inspect aircraft structures for cracks, corrosion, and improper assembly.
  • Verify proper shimming and joining of structures in accordance with design specifications.
  • Identify hidden damage in airframe structures and components.
  • Ensure compliance with testing and inspection standards for emergency equipment.
  • Document maintenance actions and process goods receipts accurately.
  • Create and distribute reports, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Support continuous improvement by applying core values and proposing innovations.
Essential Skills
  • A&P license or 18 months of experience or repairmans certificates.
  • 6+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience with UH-72, EC-145, BK-117, UH-60, Part 121, Part 145, rotary wing aircraft.
  • Proficiency in using SAP for tracking and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 preferred.
  • Experience with Airbus airframes, Safran Turbomeca engines, and Pratt and Whitney engines is advantageous.
  • Experience in MRO environments is strongly preferred.
  • Consideration given to fixed-wing experience with A&P license.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
