RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces.
- Responsible for the completion of PM’s and regular oil changes on the vacuum furnaces.
- Assist foundry operators with furnace graphite maintenance as required by supervision.
- Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervision.
- Repair and maintain other plant equipment as experience indicates.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of vacuum furnace operation and repair.
- Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment.
- Background in hydraulics plumbing, pip fitting, welding, and soldering needed.
- Electrical and electronics experience required to repair furnace controls.
