HQ Aero is currently recruiting for MAINTENANCE CONTROLLERS in FT. LAUDERDALE, FL

The Maintenance Controller is responsible for the overall coordination of fleet line maintenance activity, ensuring maximum aircraft availability and on time departure.
 
Responsibilities:
As an experienced Maintenance Controller, you are qualified to:
  • Safely managing daily maintenance requirements of the fleet in a timely manner.
  • Must convey high level of technical support to flight crews and vendors.
  • Responsible for applying and managing fleet.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely information is conveyed with computer programs.
  • Responsible for Airworthiness Releases and Special Flight Permits.

  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
  • Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance control, maintenance supervisor, crew chief, avionics lead or equivalent experience is preferred, plus an A&P license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills.
  • Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office, typing skills are a plus.
  • Experience with ATR/Airbus//Dash 7 &8 are highly desired. Must be a clear and concise verbal and written communicator.
  • Must be able to work any day/shift assigned and occasional overtime.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
