Shifts: 1st Shift: Mon Thurs 6:00 AM 4:30 PM; 2nd Shift: Mon Thurs 4:30 PM 3:00 AM

Summary:

Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces in support of aircraft modification programs, in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations

Support the F-16 production line, performing hands-on structures assembly and installation

Install fasteners; drill bulkheads and skins; and build up fuselage components

Perform heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming of aircraft structures

Maintain current or recent (within the last 2 years) experience actively drilling precision holes on aircraft

Work in a hands-on production environment requiring climbing on fuselage sections, prolonged standing, kneeling, and frequent use of ladders and work stands

Bench mechanics must possess relevant aircraft structures experience to support required production work

Candidates should expect off-shift work (2nd shift and/or weekends).

Block training may occur on either shift, with final shift assigned upon successful completion.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 8 years of aircraft structures / sheet metal experience

Experience supporting F-16 production line structures and assembly

Proficiency installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads and skins, and building fuselage components

Heavy precision drilling, countersinking, and reaming experience

Current or recent (within the last 2 years) precision drilling experience on aircraft

Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs (4 6+ years preferred)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
