What You’ll Be Doing:
- As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll be the gatekeeper of safety—leading inspections, identifying discrepancies, verifying documentation, and ensuring every component we touch is 100% ready for flight. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting receiving, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft components and assemblies.
- Verifying airworthiness using a variety of inspection methods and precision tools.
- Reviewing and auditing maintenance documentation to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
- Interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, FAA directives, and manufacturer specs.
- Approving components for return to service, issuing FAA Form 8130-3.
- Performing hands-on maintenance, mentoring technicians, and leading by example.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License or ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate.
- 5+ years of performing structures component maintenance or equivalent experience in commercial aviation working on Nacelle Components, Flight Surfaces, Flight Controls, Sheet Metal & Composite Repair.
- Have extensive knowledge of airworthiness and approval for return to service issuing FAA Form 8130-3.
- 3+ years in a dedicated inspection role.
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations and inspection methodology.
- At least 18 months of structural inspection experience (sheet metal & composite).
- Experience with Nacelle Components, Flight Controls, and Structural Repairs.
- Familiarity with FAA Form 8130-3 issuance process.
- U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in English (Spanish a plus).
- Safety certifications (ASP, CSP, OHST, etc.) are a bonus.
