Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
*Modify, repair, assemble, fabricate install structural components and aircraft parts
*Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation and application.
*Performs approved repair operations to structures including sheet metal and other structures.
*Repairs flight control surfaces, engine cowling, and fuel cell/tank maintenance
*Overhauls mechanical assemblies including repairs and part replacements.
*Documents maintenance/repair per company & FAA requirements on aircraft forms, records and workbooks
*Must own and be skilled in the use of structures hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
*Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
*Works with close tolerance dimensions and various types of fasteners using common hand tools, special instruments and pneudraulic tools. Education and Experience Requirements:
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
*Minimum 5 years work experience with large commercial aircraft
*Must be able to provide copies of training records.
