Aircraft Structural Technician

Job Description

Join our MRO team as an Aircraft Structural Technician where you will play a crucial role in rebuilding and assembling various aircraft components such as panes, brackets, skins, and doublers. You will primarily work on Dash 8 and Q400 aircraft, assembling sheet metal components for sub-assemblies. As projects arise, you may be moved around within the facility to tackle new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and assemble aircraft components including panes, brackets, skins, and doublers.
• Work on Dash 8 and Q400 aircraft, focusing on sheet metal components for sub-assemblies.
• Adapt to project requirements and move between tasks within the facility as needed.

Essential Skills

• 4-5 years of experience in aircraft structures and maintenance.
• Proficiency in aircraft sheet metal, riveting, and aviation assembly.
• Experience with Dash 8, Q400, CL415, CL215 aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge in heavy maintenance and human factors.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft plans.

Work Environment

This role is based at the Longview facility in Calgary. You will work a flexible schedule with shifts available Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 9:30 PM. Overtime is available as needed. The work environment is dynamic, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects and aircraft.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
