- Must be skill-qualified and possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Must be proficient in repairing fuel tanks and fuel leaks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
- U.S Citizen must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Common access card.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
- Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines, and component parts.
- Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
- Able to read and write, interpret, and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, and directives, guides, and forms used on the job.
- Previous maintenance experience with Metroliner 23 preferred
- Previous C-26 aircraft and fixed-wing, pressurized, twin-engine turboprops experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds independently.
- Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
- Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, and squatting, including working overhead. The position requires sitting and/or standing at workbenches and wire boards 99% of the day.
- Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line.
- Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties.
- If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
- If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours.
- If required must be able to perform confined space activities.
- Position requires repetitive hand use using wire cutters, crimpers, etc.
- Travel may be required.
