Aircraft Mechanic - Travel Package

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The contractor will be working on the CL 215, performing A checks and B checks, conducting inspections, and assembling and disassembling various parts. The role includes dropping and reinstalling engines, and drawing from the experience of others to ensure high-quality maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform A checks and B checks on CL 215 aircraft.
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify any maintenance needs.
• Assemble and disassemble various aircraft parts as required.
• Drop and reinstall aircraft engines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality maintenance and repair work.

• 5+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
• Aircraft maintenance and heavy maintenance experience.
• Aircraft Mechanic License - Transport Canada M2
• Experience with Pratt & Whitney engines.
• Proficiency in plan reading and aircraft assembly.

Work Environment

The position is located at the Shell Aerocentre in Abbotsford. Contractors will stay next door at the Sandman. The shift schedule is currently not solidified but may involve working Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for 12-hour days. The team consists of about 8 people, including Contractors.

-$55.00 per hour

-Per Diem: $75.00

-Flights provided or mileage expense

-Flight travel time paid up to 10 hours
