Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, scheduled heavy maintenance, and modifications on CRJ aircraft.
- Work in a PART 145 / MRO facility following strict guidelines and timeframes.
- Carry out C/D checks in an MRO or DEPOT level work environment.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to complete tasks.
- Provide own tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of C&D check experience.
- Experience working in an MRO or DEPOT level environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Independence and ability to work under time constraints.
Additional Qualifications- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Must have Valid A&P license
- Must have own tools

Work Environment
This position supports the MHI RJ Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center. It involves working in a heavy MRO environment focused on heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft. The work is fast-paced and time-sensitive, with a typical aircraft overhaul turnaround of 7-10 days. The shift pattern is a southern swing shift, with 4 days on (12-hour days) followed by 3 days off, then 3 days on followed by 4 days off. The facility operates 24/7, with shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am. The dress code is casual, including T-shirts and shorts/jeans with steel-toed shoes. Standard PPE, including safety glasses/goggles, is required at all times on the shop floor, with additional PPE required for specific tasks. Safety training is provided during the initial orientation week.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00
