Hiring for an FAA Licensed A&P Mechanic with Inspection experience.

Job Description

As an Inspector, you will ensure that all work performed on aviation articles complies with manufacturer and customer data. You will conduct various inspections including incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections. Additionally, you will review maintenance records and documentation to ensure all necessary repairs, inspections, and operational checks are completed in accordance with current approved technical data. You will be authorized to approve work performed for return to service while adhering to company safety requirements. Your inspections will primarily focus on 737s and 737 Max aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance of work performed on aviation articles with manufacturer and customer data.
• Perform incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
• Review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks for completeness and compliance.
• Approve work performed for return to service.
• Perform tasks under the privileges granted by 14 CFR Part 65.
• Ensure adherence to company safety requirements.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of aviation inspection experience.
• FAA A&P License

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Consideration for candidates with 1 year of inspection experience.
• Military Inspection/Quality experience with A&P license is welcome.

Work Environment

Work in a clean hangar environment on 737s at Rockford International Airport. The facility, built in the last 10 years, features two 10-story hangar bays and spans 238,000 square feet. Be prepared for cooler temperatures from September to May due to hangar operations. Positions are available across various shifts including day and swing shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rockford,IL.
