Responsibilities:
Coordinate with support organizations to resolve tool and maintenance-related issues and prevent impacts to budget and schedules.
Assess and verify maintenance and tool service requirements based on customer requests and mission needs.
Analyze and oversee procurement processes for non-production materials, portable tools, perishable tools, and shop supplies.
Manage and utilize inventory systems to track, fulfill, and redistribute assets efficiently.
Monitor and evaluate stock usage, perform inventory reviews, and support obsolescence removal plans.
Analyze products and processes using industry specifications, engineering definitions, and maintenance procedures for compliance and effectiveness.
Facilitate procurement through authorized systems to meet Air Force maintenance requirements.
Prepare reports to meet contractual and organizational standards.
Support budget planning for tool services, products, and oversee capital/expense acquisition efforts.
Work under limited supervision and support emergent or evolving maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Interim Secret Clearance required to start; must obtain Secret Clearance during assignment.
3+ years of experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment.
3+ years of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk mitigation.
Experience using computer-based inventory management systems.
Willingness to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Air Force Logistics Supply Systems, DoD inventory procedures, and related publications.
Experience with GFE/GFP management and government inventory audits.
Proficiency with GOLD / GOLDesp inventory systems.
Background supporting flight line maintenance and adherence to Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) and DCMA 8210.1C.
Expertise with Microsoft Office for digital inventory, inspections, and maintenance documentation.
Strong organizational ability to manage complex maintenance and supply chain issues.
