Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 Months)
Location: Goleta, CA 93117
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 2nd Shift 1:30PM to 11:00PM, working Friday is 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 to $36.05 per hour
Job duties:
Help set up equipment, ensure quality, and work with delicate materials—all while using precision tools to make sure everythings just right.
Assist engineers with setting up and calibrating equipment for production tasks such as, rework and quality testing of parts and assemblies, production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Handle fragile composite materials and perform bonding tasks while using various measurement tools.
Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Bond, prep and bonding of composite structures to metallic fittings.
Notate usage, traceability, pot life, and out time controls on all adhesive materials used.
Report data and interface with other employees and departments.
Tooling preparation and release application.
Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and tape measures for fabricating hardware.
Reading and understanding manufacturing blue prints and shop planning
Assist in maintaining overall shop appearance and cleanliness.

Pay Details: $36.05 per hour
