Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Logistics Representative to support our E-4 Program at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska.
The candidate in this position will work with a team of 10 Logistics Representatives on a rotating shift in the warehouse.
You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers’ unique requirements.
Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
The selected candidate will provide direct support and services to our customer within a field environment. Such direct support is primarily provided at non-Boeing facilities, e.g., customer bases/sites, other contractor facilities, remote operating locations, or a combination of field locations. Specific contract requirements will govern the type, extent, and criteria for the support and/or services to be provided.
Position Responsibilities:
- Researches, identifies, and resolves customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. Investigates total platform vehicle demand management, replenishment, and electronic data systems.
- Monitors logistics system performance.
- Solicits customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction with company services.
- Manages field office resources.
- Manage and maintain warehouse inventories along with shipping and receiving of assets as required by the customer.
- Responsible for delivery of required items to the United States Air Force customer around the clock, rotating shift work is expected.
- Position requires the ability to open/close large wood crates, operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Offutt AFB, NE.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with hazardous materials.
- Experience working with Military Supply Systems
- Must be willing to work a rotating shift
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 35 pounds as necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Previous GOLD experience is desirable.
- FEDLOG / Haystack experience
- HAZMAT Certification
- Previous experience operating forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years of related work experience, 7 years of related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
