The Aircraft Parts Specialist is responsible for sourcing, procuring and managing the acquisition of aircraft parts and managing existing inventories. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, evaluating quotations, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining accurate inventory levels, checking parts in and out, SUPS, assuring cores are returned in a timely manner and serialized parts tracking. The Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the availability of high-quality parts, optimize costs savings and minimize downtime.
This position will also include a few things outside the scope of inventory/parts and consist of managing subscriptions, drug program, tool calibration and updating employee training files.
