AMI Summer Internship - University of Arlington

Job Description:

Main accountabilities include:

Completing all documents for shipping. Filing AES, preparing airway bills, confirming all documents are on hand required for shipping and by TSA.
Tracking shipments daily and alerting customers with complete details.
Following all TSA security and regulations.
Complete costs on each file and print invoices. Making sure that all files are invoiced before the last day of the month. Mail invoices daily.
Prepare check log and send into accounting weekly or when instructed.
Answer emails from customers and overseas agents in a timely manner.
Make bookings with airlines. Schedule trucks to pick up cargo.
Answering phones in a timely manner.
Handling on hand notifications and

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in college or have recently graduated; no more than 6 months ago.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts.
Work is done before leaving the office.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
