Overview
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Key member of a team responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to procure goods and services for the company.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company, managing supplier-related activities and committing company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
- Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates contracts, and manages post-award supplier activities.
- Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills:
- Data-driven and analytically minded, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- MRP Systems knowledge, SAP experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- High-energy, dynamic personality with the ability to drive change and improvement.
- Knowledge and experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industries is a plus.

This is a union-represented position.
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $73,050 - $112,000
