* Associate's degree and typically 1 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Demonstrate experience with Computer Aided Design tools, including AutoCAD, CATIA, and NX
* Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and written procedures
* Apply knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data required for delivery configurations, including design definitions, program directives, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, functional tests, and supplier data
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Demonstrate previous experience in Design Engineering
* Collaborate effectively with multi-discipline teams
* Identify required material types for parts and components
* Apply knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various engineering disciplines, including design and test organizations Job Duties & Functions
* Design, develop, and maintain engineering drawings
* Prepare design layouts and modify existing designs
* Investigate and resolve moderately complex manufacturing process and engineering-related issues
* Verify the accuracy of engineering data produced by others
* Revise and maintain standard operating procedures for technical design activities
* Create 3D models of existing equipment
* Coordinate workload priorities with program managers and technical leads
* Perform configuration management activities associated with engineering data
