Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer II within our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will make an impact on the development, implementation, and management of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems. As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

 

In this role, you will contribute development, systems integration, and verification of core Display applications for our Next Generation Avionics Platform. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking solutions for Anthem Flight Display Systems. Your role will involve designing, analyzing, and validating system requirements to ensure the successful integration of advanced avionics technologies.

  • Systems/software requirements development, validation, integration or verification
  • Model-based System Design (using Simulink)
  • Arinc 661 graphics development (using Scade)
  • Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of avionics systems
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in avionics and systems engineering,

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 2 years of experience in systems engineering
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning

 

WE VALUE

  • Advanced Engineering degrees in AE (Aerospace Engineering), SE (Systems Engineering), etc
  • Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes.
  • Familiarity with avionics systems and display technologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tools
  • Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC) a plus
