We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer II to contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of complex software systems that power critical aerospace applications. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions, solving challenging problems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test moderately complex software systems using Oracle, Java, and web technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Perform system and integration testing independently, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.
- Debug and resolve production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Drive automation initiatives and scripting to enhance testing and deployment processes.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and guidelines, including DO-200B (preferred).
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Programming Languages: Working knowledge of Core Java and basic understanding of Spring Boot.
- Database: Basic knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL
- Web Technologies: Familiar with web technologies including HTML, JSP, API development, JavaScript, React JS, and jQuery.
- Testing: Working knowledge of testing methodologies for Oracle databases, web applications, user interfaces, and APIs.
- Tools & Processes: Familiarity with configuration management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or MCA.
- 0 -1 years of experience in software engineering.
- Aerospace domain experience is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of DO-200B standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
