Solve Critical Engineering Challenges as a Product Review Engineer
Location: Berkeley, MO Schedule: 2nd Shift; Mon to Fri, 2:30 pm to 11 pm Pay Rate: $52 - $63/HR
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Product Review Engineer who will play a vital role in ensuring product integrity, safety, and performance across the entire lifecycle. This is an opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges, influence design decisions, and help deliver safe, reliable aerospace products.
Role OverviewAs a Product Review Engineer, you will evaluate and resolve design and manufacturing non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and develop both interim and long-term engineering solutions. You’ll collaborate across teams, support production and post-production environments, and ensure that all products meet strict quality and safety standards. Your work will directly impact operational reliability and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesApply engineering and design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle
Analyze non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and develop engineering dispositions
Identify, document, and communicate deviations that may impact design intent or safety
Develop and implement product and process improvements
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and actively participate in design reviews
Represent engineering in manufacturing, build, and post-production environments
Design structural repairs and perform basic static strength analysis
Ensure supplier and production partner compliance with company standards
Develop customer-facing technical communications for safe operation and maintenance
Participate in on-site repair efforts, including disabled product recovery and investigations
Support accident investigations and contribute to corrective actions
Develop non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards
Required QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a related field
Current or previous Material Review Board (MRB) experience or certification
Familiarity with metallic and composite structure repair processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated resourcefulness, innovation, and ability to act decisively
Preferred QualificationsDegree specifically in engineering (Bachelor’s or higher)
Material Review Board (MRB) certification strongly preferred
Experience applying basic static strength analysis
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or repair environments

Pay Details: $52.00 to $63.00 per hour
