SI&T is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer who will support Radar technology that includes collaborating on requirements verification at our Woburn, MA location. This includes supporting the Systems Verification tasks and scope planning to create milestones and schedules and managing competing priorities. Typical daily activities executed by the teams include scenario development, testing, analysis, support to software development and systems engineering teams, and customer presentations. The individual will contribute to growing the team’s abilities and be able to work with both internal and external customers.
What You Will Do:
- Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirements verification task and scope planning, creating milestones, scheduling/managing competing task priorities, and customer presentations
- Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, software development, and work with internal and external customers
- Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development
- Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language
- Experience with Doors and System Integration, test, and/or Verification
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers and collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
- Experience with risk and opportunity, coach teams in agile and DevSecOps processes, implement (or maintain) agile methodologies, and support execution of the team’s backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation
- Experience facilitating daily standup meetings, monthly sprint reviews, quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for predicable/repeatable workflows
- Support team in managing capacity, removing impediments, estimating task sizing, verifying backlog readiness for planning and execution, tracking/reporting team agile metrics, and facilitating new process and technology integration
- Experience with Radar analysis tools, hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification, and working with customers to plan and execute program test activities
- Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
