Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Cost Reduction Management and Strategy

  • Manage cost reduction projects impacting GE internally manufactured PMCs
  • Develop project proposals with Design, Manufacturing, and site teams
  • Manage projects within Prodigy
  • Assist in completion of projects

Cost Reduction, Operation Strategy and Execution

  • Optimize collaboration among cross functional teams to ensure projects are driven to completion using Action Plans

NPI Program Management

  • Work with Batesville Composite Operations (BCO), CFAN (GE+Safran JV), and GE Suppliers to manage movement of parts among sources.

Communication

  • Communicate to GE Composites Part Family’s internal customers, Engine Product Lines, regarding future cost impacts and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing/project management experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong communication and program management skills required
  • Experience in product cost evaluation, composite processing, manufacturing engineering, operations, and project management preferred
  • Interest in growing into Manufacturing Engineering roles such as Controlled Title Holder (CTH) and/or Special Process Certifying Agent.
