The GE Military Engines – Lead Life Cycle Engineer will be responsible to ensure engineering tasks delivery according to CT7/T700 Program milestones.
He/she will report to the GE Military Engines Product Line Sub-Section manager.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities  

  • Managing and solving the key customer issues (i.e. maintenance, installations and/or operating issues). This includes regular in person meetings at the military base or in the field

  • Support the customer, the airworthiness agency and the partners to find the best solutions to in-service issues

  • Management of T6E1-T6A-CT7-8E fleet

  • Provide all required engineering support to the new make and MRO production lines of the military in service products

  • Lead engineering investigations on fielded engines by efficiently coordinating multiple internal functions and external stakeholders

  • Efficient coordination of the design activities from different engineering organizations

  • Identify best practices and processes for customer technical programs plans to support customer needs

  • Provide answers to technical queries coming from shops and from the field, interfacing with Operators and Field teams

Qualifications/Requirements     

  • Master Degree in Engineering from an accredited university, Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering preferred

  • Great accountability/collaboration & interpersonal/communication skills

  • Technical Program management skills

  • Good execution/coordination skills

  • Previous experience in engineering or manufacturing engineering departments

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian

  • Work Visa, according with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with Aerospace industry

  • Six Sigma training
