We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Aviation Manufacturing Operations team onsite in Riverside California. You will be on the Autoclave team that operates multiple Autoclaves during the curing process of composite and metal bonded parts for reverse thrusters and nacelle structures. You will operate several Autoclaves, adjust load configurations, ensure parts meet required specifications and generate reports.
*This position requires working onsite full-time at the Riverside, CA manufacturing facility
Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday – Thursday.
What You Will Do
Operate multiple Autoclaves to support composite and metal manufacturing
Read and review technical data production specifications to write and edit recipes
Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications
Generate curing reports for individual parts
Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality
Manage and update Autoclave tracker
Perform job using safe work practices by complying with company policies
Communicate any Autoclave issues to site leaders
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this
Experience operating industrial/mechanical equipment
Experience reading material and process specifications and/or engineering drawings.

Manufacturing experience
Experience operating Autoclaves or High-Pressure Vessels
Experience with technical reports, manuals and/or work instructions

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 78,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
