Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $48.50-$53.50/Hour
Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support requirements decomposition, systems design, and implementation efforts for security and information systems.
Assist in the development of test procedures, system models, and documentation.
Contribute to the deployment, sustainment, and troubleshooting of security-related systems.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, software, and infrastructure teams to integrate system components.
Utilize tools such as IBM DOORS and Simulink for system modeling and requirements tracking.
Apply knowledge of virtualization, operating systems, and networking technologies to support secure environments.
Support implementation and administration of cybersecurity tools and databases (Mongo preferred).
Engage in ongoing system lifecycle support, including system upgrades and patch management.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science)
5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire
Strong understanding of:
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
IBM DOORS
Simulink
Windows PowerShell
Cisco networking
Linux and Windows OS administration
Virtualization platforms
Cybersecurity tool implementation
Database administration (Mongo preferred)
Agile methodology experience preferred
On-site work required; some travel may be necessary depending on program needs
