Contract Position
$48.50-$53.50/Hour
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of analog and power systems for undersea communication platforms.
- Apply expertise in circuit design, instrumentation, power system architecture, and EMI control to develop innovative, reliable solutions.
- Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic components and systems.
- Utilize advanced CAD tools for mixed-signal circuit design and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot, test, and validate electronic systems.
- Operate specialized lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and high-speed measurement tools.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and contribute to R&D efforts in high-voltage, power transmission, and HVDC technologies.
- Support integration, documentation, and system-level testing across the product lifecycle.
- Travel as required to support program and development needs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree).
- High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design.
- Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW+ converters.
- High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology
