Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kartal/İstanbul and Gebze/Kocaeli, is one of GE Aerospaces nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments.

Additive Manufacturing& Technologies Engineer will be responsible from participating, leading manufacturing and technology development projects, including support, full responsibility of project scoping, funding and schedule coordination, team coordination and drive execution.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, leading medium to large scale projects with global team members. Define scope of the project with balancing required output, resources and schedule. Will coordinate and drive the team to execution of project with desired quality output.
  • Creating standard work procedures& training material to repeated efforts provide permanent contribution in a continuous learning environment
  • Uses judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing and engineering processes with technical variety and/or interdependent cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 7 year or more work experience in relevant scope
  • Experience with additive manufacturing technologies
  • Expertise on CAD programs
  • Awareness to process monitoring tools is desired
  • Awareness on Lean tools, ability to apply them in current role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs& projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Able to work with global team and address business concerns with innovative technical solutions
  • Demonstrated analytical, experimental and problem solving skills.
