About Us: 

McDermott Aviation is Australia’s largest privately owned and operated heli-aviation company located in Australia and globally. Operating over 45 helicopters worldwide, we offer a large and unique variety of Helicopters to suit any situation, including the world’s largest fleet of the most powerful, single-engine, twin-bladed helicopter – the Bell 214B. 

With our Headquarters located on the Sunshine Coast, we operate from bases throughout Australia, USA Alabama, and Europe. Due to significant recent expansion and continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available within our Engineering Services Team as a technical Records Officer to support the McDermott Aviation fleet at our Alabama location. 

 Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the directors of aircraft maintenance
  • Maintain aircraft records, aircraft logbooks, and component history cards
  • Maintain an audit schedule for logbook records, technical records, and aircraft subscriptions
  • Escalate complex issues which impact on the completion of component changes or compliance
  • Process data into the Aircraft Maintenance System (Aeronet)
  • Ensure all safety and regulatory compliance targets are achieved
