Job Description:
Pilot Record Database (PRD) Coordinator reports to the Manager of Pilot Training
Duties and responsibilities
A Pilot Records Database (PRD) Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the Pilot Records Database. the key duties and responsibilities include:
- Data Management: Ensuring accurate and timely entry of pilot records into the PRD, including employment history, training, and qualifications
- Compliance: Ensuring that all data entry and management activities comply with FAA regulations and guidelines.
- Record Review: Reviewing pilot records to verify their completeness and accuracy before they are used for hiring decisions.
- Coordination: Working with various stakeholders, including air carriers, operators, and pilots, to facilitate the sharing and updating of pilot records.
- Training and Support: Providing training and support to users of the PRD, including pilots and hiring managers, to ensure they understand how to access and use the database effectively.
- Reporting: Generating reports and summaries of pilot records as required by the FAA or other regulatory bodies.
Person applying must have
- Person has knowledge and experience on documentation and requirements of pilot records based on FAA requirements
- Person Has general knowledge of the Pilot Record Database (PRD) requirements.
- Person has knowledge of the Dug and Alcohol Program requirement under 14 CFR PART 120 DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING PROGRAM.
