This role is an exciting chance to join our newly launched travel media network, Kinective Media℠ by United Airlines. At Kinective Media, we believe in creating meaningful connections between travelers and brands through utilizing our award-winning loyalty program, MileagePlus. By leveraging insights from travel behaviors of over 165 million annual United flyers, Kinective Media connects customers to personalized, real-time advertising, content, experiences and offers from leading brands. We provide marketers with unparalleled opportunities to engage with their target audiences across various channels, including our award-winning mobile app and Inflight entertainment screens and more, pre, during, and post journey.

The Kinective Media (KM) Marketing Specialist will help to drive market positioning and support our sales efforts through key projects, content marketing, social media management and event execution. Entrepreneurial in spirit, a program manager and creative marketer rolled into one, this Marketing Specialist will work across functions to drive success for our group and help us to achieve our ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute key projects to drive B2B marketing goals and business impact
  • Partner with the KM sales team, brand marketing team and other stakeholder teams to determine marketing needs and priorities, and develop plans to execute
  • Set up and assist with social media presence and content calendar for Kinective Media, working with other teams to help drive content and creative
  • Identify and manage key B2B event executions and liaise with partner organizations to drive success
  • Support relationships with critical stakeholders, facilitating clear and open communication between internal and external teams
  • Responsible for team administrative tasks, budget tracking and reporting

NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement and will include approximately 50 of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in marketing, communications and/or advertising, ideally in ad tech or media
  • Entrepreneurial role with a start-up mentality, this role requires strong aptitude for working through ambiguity in a fast paced environment
  • Project Management skills and experience to drive accountability and timely, quality delivery of outputs
  • Cross functional experience working with business leadership on marketing needs
  • Passion for quality and sophistication driving quality control for all team deliverables and executions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing Communications or MBA
  • Media network and/or airline experience
